  1. College Board Opportunity Scholarships: DEADLINES VARY - Complete a series of college-related tasks, such as building your college list, practicing for the SAT, and completing your FAFSA, for eligibility to earn scholarships. Complete five of six tasks to be eligible for a $40,000 scholarship

  2. Caring.com Scholarships for Students Who are Caregivers: DEADLINES VARY BY SCHOLARSHIP. Visit the website for a list of scholarships specifically geared toward high school students who are also caregivers. Scholarship awards vary.

  3. American Indian Graduate Center:  Individuals who can verify 1/4 American Indian or Alaska Native lineage from federally recognized Tribes are eligible for funding through American Indian Graduate Center. Over 30 scholarships available, with varying awards. See website for details.

  4. American Legion Scholarships: Scholarships include the Baseball Scholarship, Samsung Scholarship, Legacy Scholarship, the Oratorical Contest, the Eagle Scout of the Year Scholarship, and the Shooting Sports Scholarship. Visit the American Legion website for details on each of these. Deadlines and award amounts vary. 

  5. Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program: DEADLINE June 20, 2022. Abbott & Fenner business consultants are pleased to offer a $1,000 each scholarship to high school juniors and seniors as well as students currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution. To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay on your educational career and life goals. The essay should be between 500 and 1000 words.

  6. Completing the Dream Scholarship: DEADLINE August 31, 2022. (185) gap scholarships worth up to $2,500 each to minority students and those from underserved communities who are on track to graduate but are at-risk of not completing due to financial emergency or unpaid school bill. 

  7. PB & J Scholarship: DEADLINE May 30, 2022Students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically, but still have the drive to succeed. No GPA requirement, evaluation based on personal statement and letters of recommendation. 

  8. Scott & Hoffnagle Scholarship FundDEADLINE May 13, 2022. Five scholarships totaling $32,500. Students must reside or attend high school within 50 miles of Leola. GPA 2.5 or higher. Essay, letters of recommendation, and transcript required, along with letter of acceptance at an accredited college or university, community college, or trade/technical school. 

  9. Fox Pest Control 2022 Scholarship: DEADLINE June 1, 2022. Fox Pest Control is pleased to offer a $2,000 scholarship to an outstanding student who exemplifies our core values of building relationships with those in our Harrisburg Area area communities and providing services to those in need. Requires a video or an essay about a philanthropic project you've organized or participated in. 

  10. The Law Office of Daniel Kim Scholarship: DEADLINE December 31, 2022. This is a $5000 scholarship to be awarded to a student with a 3.0 GPA or higher, who will be attending university/college for the 2022-2023 school year. 1200 word essay required (prompt is on the website). Winner to be notified January 15, 2023.
